Before her performance, Nicki walked the red carpet alongside designer Riccardo Tisci in a lacy black Givenchy dress. She changed into a sparkly bra and panties for her set, which included hits like “Moment 4 Life,” “Truffle Butter,” and
“Feeling Myself.”
While performing “Anaconda,” she dedicated the song to Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden. “I’m very political and I would like to dedicate a song just in the spirit of unity to Joe Biden and Donald Trump,” said the rapper, who inserted Trump’s name in the first verse and Biden’s in the second.
Donning a ruffled black dress, Ariana performed a stripped-down version of “Problem” as well as her new song “Leave Me Lonely” and the title track from her upcoming album Dangerous Woman, due May 20.
As for Trump, he called both ladies “terrific,” while Nicki was surprised to hear Trump is a fan.
During an interview with Access Hollywood, Nicki shared her appreciation for her pal BeyoncĂ©’s visual album LEMONADE. “I’m very happy for her,” she said. “I will let her know eventually how proud I am of her.”
